Since I was a small child, I have always loved color and to make beautiful things with my hands. When I was 18, I decided to work with every medium: fabric, wood, leather, silver, etc. At the age of 35 I discovered clay and found my true calling! Clay is a material that can flow in the creative process, it is malleable and gives me the ability to not only experiment with color but create my own canvas of form and function.
In 1979, I came to the land of Israel and made my home here in Moshav Modi'im, lovingly known as "The Moshav". We are a small spiritual community of artists, musicians and writers who are followers of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach. Together we have lived, laughed, cried and prayed together for more than 35 years.
It is here that I married my husband, Shalom, and raised my 5 children. And blessedly, it is here on the Moshav that I have my light filled ceramic studio in the little forest next to the children's playground, where I spend my time creating beautiful vessels of color, filled with my joy and love!
